Provenance: You are What You Eat. Part 6/6 "UBC Farm Fundraiser with Michael Pollan" June 6, 2009

Our series on Provenance concludes with an afternoon presentation and book signing with author Michael Pollan, on tour with the paperback edition of “In Defense of Food”. At this fundraiser for UBC Farm, Michael will share his manifesto for eating: “Eat Food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” Those of you purchasing participating in the full series will receive a gourmet picnic lunch.

Guests will receive a copy of “In Defense of Food” and will have the opportunity to have books signed by Michael.

The package of 6 events may be purchased for $360.00. The full series is a great value, with net proceeds to benefit programs supporting transparent, sustainable food systems. It includes expert-led events, 6 fantastic books (details below), canapes paired with wines, a gourmet picnic lunch, a full wine tasting and an opportunity to meet Michael Pollan.
