Promoting Peace in Israel Through Education May 11, 2008

Facilitators Miriam Kishi and Pat Plant conclude the two-week class “Promoting Peace in Israel Through Education.” This week guest speaker Don Griggs, former Executive Director of Pilgrims of Ibillin and well-known author and Christian educator, will give an updated overview with recent pictures of the Mar Elias schools established in Ibillin, Israel, by Archbishop Elias Chacour. These excellent schools serve about 4000 students from preschool through university bringing together Christians, Muslims, Jews and Druse to learn to live in peace.
