I don't like DJs. I'm a live music fan. But I don't like sub-par untalented local bands feeding me their latest "emo" composition.
Thursday nights at The Blue Wave, I get exactly what I want ~ great live music, played excellently. Rock, blues, funk, and soul covers. My kind of music.
Expect songs you've heard, songs you can dance to, and selections that will just make you say, "wow." Expect Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Pearl Jam, Phish, Dave Matthews, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, Grateful Dead, Diana Ross, Susan Tedeschi, Bill Withers, The Rolling Stones, The Band, The Black Crowes, U2, Bob Dylan, and Jimi Hendrix.
$5 at the door, which goes right to the band.

I've seen these guys before, when they were called "That Burning Sensation." Dunno if they still are as much a jam band as the past, but I saw them at Felt this past January and they were nasty. Their version of the Allman Brothers' "Whipping Post" was particularly memorable.
For some reason, the Patriots' offensive lineman, Matt Light was there, in the crowd.

This band is not to be missed. The have a pedal steel guitar player... a pedal steel guitar player, man!
