"Process as Adventure", a multi-media event by Project Bandaloop, includes viewing of footage of new work, including the premiere of Nanda Devi Dances, a film by Logan Schneider of dances in the Himalayas, treasures from the vault, followed by a conversation with artistic director/founder Amelia Rudolph and the dancers and riggers of Project Bandaloop.

"Process as Adventure" is part of international pioneer of aerial movement Project Bandaloop's 20th anniversary season. The season opens with the premiere of "Bound(less)" in three free performances September 15-17 at The Great Wall in Oakland. The multimedia work represents the culmination of two decades of creating innovative works that respond to and interact with environments and audiences around the world and features six dancers and a live band who will make the Great Wall their dance floor. In addition to the premiere performances of "Bound(less)", Project Bandaloop's home season will also include open rehearsals, short lunch time performances, workshops and multi-media events, all free and open to the public.

Performances of "Bound(less)" will be presented at 8:30 pm Thursday-Saturday, September 15-17, at the Great Wall in Oakland. The Great Wall is located at the corner of West Grand and Valley in the Uptown District of Oakland, one block from the 19th Street BART station. Audience members are encouraged to bring lounge chairs or mats for comfortable viewing. A limited number of VIP seats will be available on an advance reservation basis by contacting [email protected]. Special free sneak preview performances of excerpts from "Bound(less)" will be given Thursday, September 8 at 12:30 pm and Friday, September 9, at 5 pm at Mint Plaza, on Fifth Street between Mission and Market Streets in San Francisco prior to the full premiere in Oakland.
