1011 NE Alberta Street
Portland, Oregon

It's finally May. Which means that election time is finally here - and the rumors, gossip, innuendo, and intelligence are flying fast.

Join your favorite group of progressive hacks, activists, politicos, and assorted groupies (including that rare breed, the candidate/groupie) as we head up to Northeast Portland.

This month, we're at a relatively new place called Bye and Bye - at 1011 NE Alberta Street.

From the BarFly review:

New bar on the quickly developing lower end of NE Alberta St with large roll-up garage doors, a huge back patio, and a large cement bar. Great jukebox, tons of bike parking, and a staff that's as nice as they are easy on the eyes. The aptly named cocktail "Bye and Bye," served in a mason jar, is deceivingly light and refreshing while packing a mean punch.

Yes, it's nonsmoking. $3 well, $2-3 drafts until 7 p.m. See you there Friday at 5:30 p.m.
