Percussive post-punk four-piece PROFESSOR MURDER make their EB debut, playing another of our 'free Monday' shows. They will be supporting Professor Murder Rides the Subway, an album that references the riotous rhythms of decades past, but updates the sound with outsize, sunny melodies that are totally, totally righteous. THE JAI-ALAI SAVANT are a group that "negotiate the textures of punk rock and dub reggae." They have just issued their debut full length, Flight of the Bass Delegate and will be playing material from it here. The WATERBABIES are a recently formed superstar "noisejamrockelectrofreakout" project that features members of the BOBBY CONN band, CHANDELIERS, LAZER CRYSTAL and MAHJONGG. The group experiments with heavy rhythms, and use composed and improvised song structures to create deeply hypnotic passages that compel and confound.
