Professional Bull Riders Omaha Invitational March 15, 2012

The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will bring a weekend filled with rank bulls, high scores and big wrecks to the MAC.

The Omaha Invitational PBR Touring Pro Division will showcase some of the most promising rising stars of the PBR, riding alongside fan favorites and veterans, as all the competitors face-off against the most famous animal athletes in the business. The PBR’s Touring Pro Division offer upcoming bull riders the opportunity to compete in PBR-sanctioned events, while earning money to qualify for the PBR's elite World Finals.

In addition, a Stick Bull Riding will be hosted for kids up to age seven. This event will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 prior to that evening competition. Participants can enter the contest upon arrival and the entry fee will be $7. Prizes and bull riding performance tickets will be awarded. This event is being produced by one of the nations largest and most well-known rodeo producers - Frontier Rodeo, which is owned and operated by Jerry Nelson. Nelson is a current recipient of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s (PRCA) Bareback Horse of the Year and the Saddle Bronc Horse of the Year awards and is the only stock contractor in the history of the PRCA to receive awards for two Bucking Horses in the same year.
