Procession of the Species and SOLSTICE Exhibit June 12, 2012

Madison's Procession of the Species is a community art parade celebrating biodiversity that was initiated by Madison artist, puppeteer and art teacher Laurie Rossbach. Hand crafted masks and giant puppets made by Laurie Rossbach and community members will be on display in the Playhouse Gallery. Megan Monday and Brijetta Waller's SOLSTICE is a short film documenting the Procession and explores personal and community transformation through art. Video art and stills from the film will also be featured in the Playhouse Gallery.
