Pro Photographer Showdown April 19, 2006

Recognized as the world's pre-eminent action sport & lifestyle photography exposé, the Pro Photographer Showdown is an audio-visual mega-production for 2000 people and an international television audience and delivers a stunning array of work by the world's most inspiring photographers. There are no bounds to the sports covered, with previous presenters taking the audience on journeys in surfing, skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, and everything in between.

New for 2006, entry into the Pro Photographer Showdown was open to any action/lifestyle photographer in the world. Over sixty submissions, from emerging young guns to the most published legends of the lens, were received and reviewed by the Jury. The top five were chosen to present at the gala Showdown on April 19th. The five selected photographers from around the world will choreograph 9-minute shows of the best images of their careers. The artist chosen ?Best of Show? walks away with $10,000.
