Trade Show attendees doubled in 2006. In 2007, Attendees doubled again. Over 3,000 prospective photography buyers attended in 2007. This resulted in the California Show being one of the best attended State Shows in the United States. Professional Photographers of California conducts an extensive marketing campaign to promote the convention and trade show throughout the United States, focusing on the Western States Region.
The Marketing Strategy focus on a team effort between organizational staff AND all Trade Show Vendors. Marketing occurs via broadcast e-mail, websites, industry publications, direct mail, vendor client lists and numerous personal appearances at photography meetings throughout California. Most of our direct mail goes to the 7 western states with over 60,000 advertising pieces distributed to photographers, college photography students and photography schools.
Trade Show booths and locations are limited and going fast-due to the success of the past two years.
