Prisonshake began in Cleveland in 1986. Most of the original lineup came out of the early '80s hardcore scene, playing in bands like Spike in Vain, The Dark, The Offbeats and Ragged Bags among others. But Prisonshake is more of a rock band, albeit one with many twists and turns.
