Printmaking+Mixed Media November 1, 2009

Spend the day with Dorit Elisha learning first hand techniques from her book "Printmaking+Mixed Media"

She will offer 3 different "mini workshops" within one 6 hour session.
The workshops will include screen printing with a paper stencil, thermal screen printing (with Dorit's pre made screens) and collagraphs.

In this workshop you will:

Watch three techniques demonstrated, each one with its unique style and its best uses in mixed media art, including bookmaking, collage, scrap booking, journaling and fiber art .

You will learn how to get great prints without using a printing press or expensive paper and you’ll have lots of play time to try these yourself
You will examine several examples of mixed media artwork that consists of these techniques.

You will leave with plenty of prints that can be used in your future mixed media art.
