Princess Bride Quote-Along July 17, 2008

It wasn't until Caitlin and I were cutting the trailer for what we thought was a regular screening of THE PRINCESS BRIDE and I typed in "A Quote-Along!" into the titles that we had any idea that this type of show would ever exist. I didn't initially know what a Quote-Along show would actually look and feel like, but I knew that it HAD to be a good time. But when the whole crowd smacked their heads along with Vizzini every time he said, "Inconceivable!" and the sound of the smacking was followed by small cheers and laughs, the room felt like it was coated in the same kind of fairy tale happiness as the film. We've been doing Quote-Alongs for over a year now, but haven't brought THE PRINCESS BRIDE QUOTE-ALONG to the Ritz yet. We figure it's high time to fix that. Once again, we'll start with a "battle for the princess" where contestants from the crowd will come up on stage to sword fight like Inigo, rhyme like Fezzik, and engage their wits like Vizzini. Then we'll move on to the feature film, with subtitles for key lines, props, and more.

Plus! For one night only, we're having a special PRINCESS BRIDE Mini-Feast. We'll be doing everything we do at all the Quote-Along shows, but for this one we'll enjoy a medieval fantasy feast menu featuring drink pairings with each course!

Kid Policy: 18 and up; Children 6 and up will be allowed only with a parent or guardian. No children under the age of 6 will be allowed.
