Rocky Mountain PBS, The National Park Foundation, eTown and Colorado Chautauqua, National Historic Landmark are collaborating for a special screening and entertainment event.

Free and open to the public, the event features musical guests and an advanced preview of Ken Burns' "The National Parks: America's Best Idea." The 12-hour, six-part series airs Sunday-Friday, September 27-October 2, at 8 p.m.

September 26 is National Public Lands Day. The National Park Service is celebrating National Public Lands Day by holding screenings in many of the nation's 391 national parks. The day has been dubbed "Make America's Best Idea Even Better"- to foster stewardship and engage the public in a variety of activities.

September weather can be unpredictable so please bundle up. We encourage you to picnic on the grounds of Chautauqua beforehand!
