Directed by master satirist Armando Iannucci and co-written by the team who brought you the BAFTA award-winning TV hit The Thick of It, Iannucci’s feature debut is another razor sharp political comedy whereby the US President and UK Prime Minister suddenly fancy a war – but it’ll be quick this time! Not everyone on both sides are in agreement however, and events become even more hysterical when the British Secretary of State (Hollander) accidentally backs military action on prime-time TV – and suddenly gains lots of friends in Washington!
