Prevent Child Abuse Vermont is proud to present the 11th annual WALKS TO END CHILD ABUSE on Saturday August 21st in Montpelier at the State House lawn, on August 28th in Burlington at Battery Park, and on August 28th in Rutland at the Howe Center. There will be T-shirts, entertainment, food, prizes and fun for the whole family! In Montpelier, at the same time as the WALK, there will be a 5k RUN TO END CHILD ABUSE. Also in Montpelier, come and meet Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man as he kicks off the 2010 WALK season for us!
Taylor Coppenrath, UVM Basketball star, is the honorary Chair, and has issued a challenge: the school team that raises the most at each WALK will get an autographed UVM basketball!
