Bay Area locals will gather at Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco to watch national television coverage of the historical 2009 presidential inauguration and parade. The spectators will watch Barack Obama take the oath of office and parade through the streets of Washington D.C. on two Jumbotrons set up throughout the park.
Westfield and Forest City Development, owners of Metreon, and MJM Management Group, property manager for Yerba Buena Gardens, are providing this opportunity as a community service.
