Preservation Hall Jazz Band Members Discuss New Orleans Jazz June 20, 2006

Join us for a special preview of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival when members of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band (scheduled to perform at the Festival on Wednesday, June 21), will present a discussion of New Orleans jazz. Michael Jewett, host of 89.1 Jazz WEMU, will moderate the discussion with band members Carl LeBlanc and/or John Brunious. The Jazz Band has been touring the U.S. for more than 25 years, and recently made appearances at Carnegie Hall, Boston's Symphony Hall, and Wolf Trap--where they were presented with the Wolf Trap Medal for Excellence in the Performing Arts.
