Preparing for Pregnancy December 6, 2010

The March of Dimes has awarded Chandler Regional Medical Center with a grant to offer FREE classes that provide tips for women and couples who are considering pregnancy, planning a pregnancy or in between pregnancies. Learn how to improve the chances of having a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Topics will include:

• Why preconception health is important
• Nutrition and folic acid supplementation
• How to decrease certain types of birth defects
• Establishing healthy behaviors before your pregnancy
