Expat nomad and vanguard B-boy Guillermo Scott Herren--a.k.a. Prefuse 73--returns with a set of his wide-ranging, signature slice-and-dice beats. Herren's recent live shows echo the sonic developments showcased on Security Screenings, his recent release for Warp Records. Boston-based MC Edan hit many year-end "best of" lists with his CD Beauty and The Beat, an outstanding mash-up of garage pysch rock and old-school hip-hop. "It's like Pet Sounds born and raised in the Bronx" raved hard-to-please Brit magazine NME.
