Pree will be on tour this summer in support of A Chopping Block, recently released on The Kora Records (www.thekorarecords.com). Pree will be playing at L'Escogriffe with June je t'attends and Migrating Birds on Thursday, August 6th.

Pree, led by May Tabol (of Le Loup), emerged onto the Washington, DC music scene with a string of compelling and intimate shows during the summer of 2008. Pree's musical prowess evokes stirring and shadowy moods that call to mind Joanna Newsom's imaginative narratives as well as Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock's rhythmic vocal stylings-- mixing haunting folk elements, unmistakable vocals, and a remarkable command of words to elicit a fare as delicate as it is powerful.
