Pre-Arthur Fest show at Voltaire - Sunburned Hand of the Man and more September 2, 2005

Not only will Sunburned Hand of the Man perform at Voltaire on Sep 2nd (2 days before the amazing 2-day Arthur Fest in LA), but also Magik Markers (kick-ass LP on T. Moore's Ecstatic Peace), Jack Rose (member of Pelt, extremely good acoustic geetar ragas), Marissa Nadler, Extreme Animals, and local The Dead White.

All for $6. So, you can pay $24 to see a couple of amazing bands play at a big corporate venue with super expensive brew and lots of parking hassle (down near the Asslamp Quarter), or you can pay a quarter of that and head on down with a cheap six-pack to our laid back house show for six different acts, your call. I'm not so conflicted myself, cause I'm gonna see Sonic Youth in LA a couple days after.

Supposedly Thurston said we should flyer the sh## out of their SD show, though I don't know if it would do any good since anybody planning on seeing them probably wouldn't be able to make it down to OB to see the other show.

Anyway, it's 4862 Voltaire St. in Ocean Beach. 7:00pm.
