Formed in Prague in 1972, the Pražák Quartet is the foremost inheritor of the long and storied tradition of Czech quartet playing. Earning critical acclaim for their technical mastery and expressive lyricism, the group is well known for trademark “performances that grab you by the collar and refuse to behave” (Los Angeles Times). Pivotal Czech repertoire by Dvorák and Suk highlight the Pražák’s can’t-miss program at the Seaport Museum on Penn’s Landing.
