BRIGHTON FILM WORKSHOPS presents this practical workshop on DIRECTING SHOTS and SHOOTING SCENES. Max 8 places available.

Everyone will direct their own scene from a Hollywood movie using professional film equipment and real working film actors!

This workshop teaches the essentials of film directing including: the grammar of film, a tool-kit of shots, preparing storyboards & shot-lists, crossing the line and directing actors on-set.

Not only that, but you will also gain invaluable experience taking turns as assistant director, camera operator, camera assistant, boom op, art director, spark and runner on other people’s scenes!

The workshop is run by the director of a low-budget feature film recently released by a Hollywood Studio.

Held in a professional film studio in central Brighton.

DVD of rushes and filmed scenes provided after the workshop. Plus full set of handouts.
