The Boston-based underground metal band Powerman 5000 earned a popular cult following along the East Coast with the release of their 1995 indie-debut 'The Blood Splat Rating System.' Combining pummeling guitars, dynamic vocals and unyielding rhythms, Down to This creates an impassioned and aggressive live show that is considered to be in a class of its own. Formed in Fredericksburg VA, August of 1993, the band has evolved into a heavy groove and latin influenced force to be reckoned with. Their current lineup has been together for 2 years and has obtained a devoted following throughout the mid-atlantic.
