About the Speaker:

Yasmin Anderson-Smith is President and CEO of KYMS Image International offering personal and corporate image consulting for the discerning client. Yasmin combines her vision, passion and commitment to excellence to influence positive change in people, organizations and events. Whether managing special occasions from fashion shows to major marketing initiatives, Yasmin successfully combines her strong interpersonal, organizational and creative skills to create positive and memorable results. Yasmin completed her post-graduate education in City and Regional Planning at Howard University and the University of Virginia and was a former Regional Manager for historic properties owned by a nationally acclaimed, government agency in Maryland. Pursuing a career change, Yasmin studied advanced image consulting and professional development training in Britain at the London Image Institute under the direction of image master, Lynne Marks, AICI, CIM. A graduate of Leadership Prince George’s, Yasmin is an active member of several community and professional organizations including the Association of Image Consultants International, the American Society of Training and Development, Special Events Sites Marketing Alliance and Montgomery Women. With over twenty years experience in government, private-sector and community-based human service environments, Yasmin has expertise in image management, leadership, management, marketing, special events administration, customer service relations and planning. Yasmin is married, has three children and enjoys the arts, culture, history, travel, sports and the outdoors.
