Pottsgrove Manor to Host Paper Marbling Workshop February 19, 2011

Pottstown, Pennsylvania — On Saturday, February 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Pottsgrove Manor will host a workshop on paper marbling.

Participants will learn the traditional art of paper marbling from Richard Aldorasi, founder of the Philadelphia Handmade Paper Company. Mr. Aldorasi has conducted living history programs in paper making, letter press printing, decorative paper, and book arts since 1989. This hands-on workshop is ideal for both adults and children 10 years and up.

Participants in the workshop will take home their unique creations. There is a fee of $30 per person for this program, which includes all materials. Please bring a sack lunch. Class size is limited; registration is required by February 15th. Call 610.326.4014 to register or for more information.
