Dynamite (www.dynamitefamily.com) is a collaborative group founded in Grand Rapids, Michigan that focuses on bringing people together, building relationships and questioning some fundamentally dangerous notions and assumptions in the Art World and American culture.

Potential Energy is Dynamite's newest project which includes ideas from collaborative groups from around the world. A large number of groups were asked to submit a poster design on 8.5x11 or A4 paper that explains one of their unrealized projects. Every group seems to have something that has not been possible, and seeing what a group would do if they could do anything helps to understand what motivates them. The show has already been hosted in Grand Rapids and Chicago, and will be traveling to Portland, Oregon, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
There will be 11 posters on display in Indianapolis
from groups as far away as Denmark, Sweden, Portland and London.

Dynamite will be presenting Potential Energy on June 3 from 6-9 p.m. and on June 4 from 1-5 p.m. Please come out to meet and discuss with the Dynamite guys and see some of what is happening in the world of collaboratives, art groups, collectives and alliances.
