Popular Series: the Bobs Holiday Show December 7, 2008

We all get a little goofy around the holidays. So, what better way to kick off the season with a group that’s just, uh, a little off-center? Okay, well, a lot off-center. Alright, alright, they’redownright wacky, but aren’t all a cappella groups? Critics have likened the Bobs to a “barbershop quartet gone completely insane.” That may be a bit of an overstatement, but when a group performs original songs like Kill Your Television and There's a Nose Ring in My Soup to a cappella covers of Jimi Hendrix’s Purple Haze and Cream’s White Room well, as you can see—kinda wacky. Add some jingle bells and some egg nog and some “ho, ho, ho”for this holiday show and you’ve got a recipe for some really zany yuletide festivities.
