Come check out an exclusive screening of "The Great World of Sound" presented by PopRally.

An official selection of the 2007 New Directors/New Films festival presented by The Museum of Modern Art and The Film Society of Lincoln Center, "The Great World of Sound" shines a harsh light on the upside – and the downside – of looking for shortcuts to fame. Martin and Clarence are a production company’s A-team, setting up shop in hotel rooms in large towns and medium-sized cities to audition local musicians for a shot at the gold ring. Both men seem to believe that they’re supporting new talent, until problems arise. Many of the actors playing auditioning townspeople are actual amateur musicians, and their performances add a touching poignancy.
