Pontoon Boat Ride September 11, 2010

Marion County Commissioners have proclaimed that September 2010 is "Marion County Springs Festival Month" in honor of the ninth year of celebration and education about the County's fresh water springs. Multiple events will be held throughout the month of September. As part of this, Silver River will be providing guided pontoon tours on the pristine Silver River. The first tram will start at 9:45 am to take you down the Swamp Trail to the boat dock where you will board the pontoon for an educational ride, learning about the importance of Silver River and Silver Springs as part of the Floridan Aquifer. This will be on a first come, first served basis, so reservations will not be taken. Please understand that seating is limited and if attendance is more than we anticipate we will not be able to guarantee participation for everyone.
