Since 1995, the Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) has presented Pollution Prevention Awards to businesses demonstrating environmental excellence and leadership in our community. Pollution Prevention is a pro-active approach to environmental management that can help businesses reduce the cost of regulatory compliance by eliminating and/or recycling wastes, emissions, and discharges.
