Polio Corrective Surgery & Jaipur foot camp December 27, 2009

Everyone is familiar with the Jaipur foot, a remarkable innovation where an artificial foot is tailored to suit the Indian lifestyle. Now All India Marwari Yuva Manch is organising Jaipur limb camps at 10 different places of Bihar - Bettiah, Motihari, Jaynagar, Jehanabad, Dehri-on-sone, Patna City, Bhagalpur, Hasanpur, Katihar & Kishanganj, from 28th Dec.2009 - 15th Jan. 2010 to celebrate its silver jubilee. Gyan-Jyoti Yatra of All India Marwari Yuva Manch is travelling 15 states of india. This journey is of 100 days and in 100 days Marwari Yuva Manch is organising 100 artificial limb camps across the country.
Participants will be provided free board, lodging, callipers, etc. in these camps. The aim is to reach out to the disabled everywhere. More than 45,000 people have benefited from the camps in the last 25 years and this time over 3500 people with disabilities are expected to benefit from the camp.
Polio Corrective Surgery Camp - Marwari Yuva Manch, Bettiah branch is organising Polio Corrective Surgery Camp at Bettiah from 21st Dec.-28th Dec. 2009, where Dr. S. Adi Narayan Rao of Vishakhapattanam will perform surgery on the people with disabilities due to polio.
