Florida's Poison the Well arose quickly within the underground hardcore punk scene, becoming a major touring act in several U.S. markets on the strength of their first full-length album and incredibly energized live performances. Dance Gavin Dance is a six-member post hardcore band from Sacramento, California This San Diego-based band has long been at the center of controversy. The Locust was formed in 1995 from the shards of San Diego hardcore stalwarts, Swing Kids and Struggle. Since then, it has hosted a veritable Who's Who of punk rock royalty.
