Poet Gail Pursell Elliot will be reading her original poetry, published and unpublished, in the main gallery at the Octagon Center for the Arts. Some of the pieces Pursell Elliott will be reading focus on the journeys, perspectives and challenges of being a woman. Her writing explores the human experience from the "inside out" and has a mystical quality and imagery that shares the spiritual messages found in everyday experiences. Attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch to this free event.
