Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is an advanced form of flexibility training involving the stretching and contraction of the targeted muscle group. Originally developed for rehabilitation, it is also excellent for targeting specific muscles and various fibers within certain muscles to increase flexibility, ROM and improving muscular strength. By using this method therapists not only gain tremendous improvement in their patients, but at the same time they can reduce the strains on their own body helping to preserve and extend their career.
