Dallas Social Venture Partners presents its monthly First Friday luncheon on Friday, Oct. 5 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Park City Club, 5969 Sherry Ln., 17th floor. First Friday was created as an opportunity for Dallas Social Venture Partners to present its investees (the non-profits it assists) to current and potential members. Admission is $20 and includes lunch. Call 214-855-5520x 3 to make a reservation.

October’s luncheon will highlight DSVP’s investee The Transition Resource Action Center (TRAC). TRAC is a one-stop center that offers access to affordable housing, livable-wage jobs and a safety net for young adults transitioning out of substitute care. Program Director Evy Kay Ritzen will discuss the progress made by TRAC since DSVP has been on board. TRAC’s mission is to “Connect young people, age 14-24, who are transitioning from substitute care towards sufficiency, with individualized support, planning and access to community service”.
