Plein Air Art Festival September 15, 2010

The Thanksgiving Point Plein Air Fine Art Festival is a unique event highlighting Utah painters and sculptors across Thanksgiving Point. Painters and sculpters create works across property September 14-16 culminating in an exhibit and sale of entered art pieces on September 17 and 18 at Water Tower Plaza. Back by popular demand the exciting Quick Draw timed painting competition will take place during the Farmer's Market at Water Tower Plaza. Live music on Friday and Saturday along with an Art Market and children's activities. The purpose of the event is to promote Utah art and enable first-hand observation of the tradition of art created en plein air (outdoors). Proceeds from the event benefit Thanksgiving Point mission of education and discovery.
