PLEASANTON, California

The Pleasanton Fall Harvest Festival is returning to the Alameda County Fairgrounds, September 11-13, 2009, bringing residents of the Bay Area and beyond a truly pleasant way to spend the day.

The Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show® is the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast, and for many it’s also a time honored tradition. Every year, people look forward to visiting their favorite artisans, snacking on gourmet samples and browsing over 24,000 American handmade arts and crafts.

The Pleasanton Harvest Festival is proud to once again partner with the Valley Humane Society (VHS) to help the organization with fundraising efforts. The VHS was the select charity for the Harvest Festival for its Pleasanton Spring Harvest Festival, where the group raised over $2,000 for animals in need of homes and assistance.

Throughout the day, fabulous live musicians and performers continually entertain patrons as they browse, eat and shop. New to the Pleasanton Harvest Festival this year is Cash Tribute, a band that covers the hits of Johnny Cash and brings back traditional favorites with a twist. Also new this year is Scotty and Trink, a comedic duo with unusually special skills in juggling balls, clubs, torches and knives. Scotty and Trink have appeared at Caesar’s Palace, Mandalay Bay and Cobb’s Comedy Club, amongst many other venues.

Don’t miss the chance to see these exciting live performances while browsing through the unique gifts that you won’t find anywhere else.
