As Join award-winning screenwriter and playwright Rick Cleveland for a seminar in which he will discuss the differences between writing for the stage, screen and television, as well as the fundamentals each require. Mr. Cleveland will contextualize the topics discussed, using examples of experiences as well as clips and photographs from his own career and previous work. The seminar is open to playwrights, screenwriters, actors and directors. Though an acclaimed stage monologist, Rick Cleveland is most renown for his work in television. Programs he's worked on include HBO's 'Six Feet Under,' 'The West Wing,' 'Mad Men' and the Showtime series, 'Nurse Jackie.' His play, 'Jerry and Tom,' was adapted as a screenplay and ran as an official selection of both the Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals.
