Deadbeat Echoes. Four teenagers playing pop for people from the darker side of town, they’ve recently been supporting The Charlatnans. Attention is growing for this is musical movement to catch sooner rather than too late.; "The trick of making high art for the people, taking the esoteric and putting it onto the terraces and into the council estates." (Louder Than War) http://soundcloud.com/deadbeat-echoes @deadbeatechoes

The Broxton Hundred – so new, but such an instant attraction that they’ve already earned a Band Of The Day accolade. “If you can catch this band live do so.” (Louder Than War) Sprinklings of Psychedelia, plenty of groove and the knack for a pop tune, this trio owe a musical debt to The La’s and The Stone Roses among others.
