6:30 – 8:00 pm

Class Description:
Learn to play by ear using lead sheets (a notated melody with chord symbols) offering a compromise between playing “off the top of one’s head” and reading every note. Develop your skills while learning stock accompaniments and creative tips and tricks from a pro. On the last day, perform for family and friends with a rhythm section.

Age Recommendation:
open to pianists, ages 12 through adult, who have a minimum ability to read treble clef and play a few scales and chords.

$85.00 community partners / $95.00 general registration
