Gary Anderson of American Legends Theatre will bring his one-man performance on the life of Clarence Darrow to Austin for two performances on Saturday, January 14. Advance tickets are recommended.

Clarence Darrow (1857-1938) has been called the most hated and the most celebrated attorney in American history. His trials and legal issues were and still are immediate, controversial, and inspiring. He is perhaps best remembered for his attacks on creationism in the Scopes "Monkey" Trial in 1925. Anderson's portrayal of Darrow has been compared with Holbrook's Mark Twain.

Tickets are $20 at the door, and $15 if bought in advance at http://www.austinUU.org. Advance tickets for seniors and students are just $10 each.
