‘Plastiki’ - Mission Control Talk Series October 5, 2009

The team behind the Plastiki expedition will discuss what it has taken to build a 60ft catamaran almost entirely from reclaimed plastic water bottles and self-reinforced PET, a uniquely recyclable and relatively unexplored material. They will highlight the research, development and discoveries made along the way.

Monday, October 5, 2009 - David de Rothschild, founder of Adventure Ecology will discuss in detail the expedition from concept to build to launch and will be happy to answer any questions.
