Plants and Animals are a Canadian indie-rock band from Montreal, featuring two members originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. They often describe their music as post-classic rock. Plants and Animals were recently nominated for two 2009 JUNO Awards - one for Best New Group, and the other for Best Alternative Album, for Parc Avenue.
