Planning for the Future June 25, 2010

These large scale, easily-read panels examine the museum's concepts for the future of exhibits and programs once the site is restored. The panels explain the goals of the current restoration process for the museum and its buildings: Preservation, Reconstruction, Restoration and Rehabilitation. The panel exhibit explores the collection of the museum and its mission to provide historic learning experiences of the Long Family as well as Kansas City and regional history and how the site restoration coincides with that mission.
