"Planning & Designing Your New Home" with Katherine Salant, Author and Syndicated Columnist

Ms. Salant will speak about “What Clients Don’t Know and What Every Architect Should Know” in planning a new home. She will focus on design, livability, and what a new owner should think about and the architect should ask as they get ready to build a new home together.

She is a Harvard graduate in architecture, a new-house expert, and began her career as a Fulbright scholar, studying village houses in Nepal. She is the author of “The Brand-New House Book” and an award winning syndicated columnist, with her column “Your New Home” distributed to more than 40 online and print media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, Denver Post and Miami Herald. She helps consumers learn to make good decisions on every aspect of design as they build a home that makes sense for them.
