Planned Parenthood Youth Organizing & Policy Institutes September 21, 2012

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is proud to announce the 2012 Youth Organizing and Policy Institutes (YOPI) to be held in eight states across the country in partnership with local affiliates. Threats to sexual and reproductive health do not solely occur in DC, but are happening in state legislatures across the country. Let’s do something about it.

This fall, YOPI will train activists between the ages of 18 and 24 to mobilize their communities around reproductive justice and sexual health.The three day conference will be held at University of New Hampshire, from September 21st to 23rd, YOPI will engage participants through workshops, supplying attendees with the skills and knowledge of the current environment surrounding Planned Parenthood nationally, while discussing the issues specific to the northern New England Region. Immediately following the training, activists will be provided the opportunity to engage with advocacy efforts organized by their local Planned Parenthood affiliate.
