Pirates of Penzance or The Slave of Duty. This comic masterpiece, filled with familiar melodies and lively action, is loved by audiences the world over. Start with a band of rollicking pirates who get caught with a gaggle of proper maidens, then add in some ridiculous logic about February 29, a whimsical Major General, the Keystone Cops, and a misplaced sense of duty. Sung in English (with supertitles) with full orchestra and costumes. Thursday night's performance will be an optional sing-a-long for those who wish to participate.

A very successful Broadway version was produced in 1980 and movie in 1983, starring Linda Ronstadt, Kevin Kline, Angela Lansbury, George Rose, and Rex Smith.
