He and Dianna bravely sent a bottle of that first 1994 vintage to Robert Parker who loved it, thus becoming the rating that launched a thousand stellar pinots. Adam now crafts pinot from over 20 different vineyards (from Santa Barbara to the Willamette Valley), preferring to innovate rather than play it safe.
