Adam Lee has been making great pinot for 16 years. He and Dianna bravely sent a bottle of that first 1994 vintage to Robert Parker who loved it, thus becoming the rating that launched a thousand stellar pinots. Adam now crafts pinot from over 20 different vineyards (from Santa Barbara to the Willamette Valley), preferring to innovate rather than play it safe. And when you combine his winemaking skill with his willingness to take chances, the result is a body of pinots that offer such breadth of style and flavor, it's like a pinot noir character study encapsulated in a single winery.
